Highlights from This Year’s Retreat—Don’t Miss Out on the Fun, Healing, and Rejuvenation for Mind, Body, and Soul!

Where we’ll be staying…
The cozy ranch house is the heart of Sturgeon River Ranch — warm, welcoming, and full of country charm. After a day of adventure, you’ll return to a space that feels like home, complete with comfortable accommodations, delicious home-cooked meals, and the kind of hospitality that makes you part of the family. From every window, you can catch glimpses of the bison, horses, ponies, sheep, and even playful kittens roaming nearby. Whether gathered around the table or relaxing by the fire, the ranch house offers the perfect blend of comfort, connection, and nature’s magic.
During my healing journey, I learned that you need 2 very important things in your healing journey:
one…
The importance of connecting with other women. It has been proven these relationships are more vital to our well-being than our romantic ones.
two…
How imperative your environment truly is in your healing journey. This way you can be free of other influences, distractions, and responsibilities so you can be FULLY invested in yourself. When was the last time you did that for yourself?
I went all out, so you could go all in. After your soulful Cowgirl experience, you will feel rejuvenated, at peace, grateful, and unstoppable. There is nothing more healing than being completely disconnected in nature so you can deeply reconnect to yourself. This retreat is the perfect balance of adventure, sisterhood, healing, and rejuvenation.

If you're traveling from out of town or abroad to join us for the retreat, you have two convenient options for arrival. You can fly into Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (YXE), or Prince Albert (YPA). Please note, Tymeka will be traveling from Saskatoon.
The journey from Saskatoon to Sturgeon River takes approximately 2.5-3 hours by car, while it's a 90-minute drive from Prince Albert Airport. To ensure timely arrival at the ranch, we recommend scheduling your flight to arrive no later than August 7th, as we need to gather at the ranch by 9:30 am CST.
For those flying into Saskatoon, Tymeka will do her best to coordinate carpooling arrangements for a fee of $40 CAD round trip. Additionally, we encourage participants with vehicles to consider offering rides to fellow attendees. Further details, including the designated meetup location, will be communicated closer to the event date.
-
No prior experience with horses or riding is required. Our team of professional guides will assist with every aspect, from setting up saddles to providing a pre-trip demonstration. They'll accompany us throughout the journey, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported. Additionally, a horse-drawn wagon will be available for anyone needing a break at any time.
-
When you register for the retreat, your welcome email will include a comprehensive packing list detailing everything you should bring, including recommended outfits. Tents will already be set up for us and chairs will also be provided. You just need to bring a sleeping bag, blanket sleeping pads or air mattresses, and pillows.
If you don't have a sleeping bag, or air mattress, there's no need to worry. Tymeka has a surplus of these items, and we anticipate that other attendees may also have extras. We'll coordinate tent buddies and equipment distribution, so please inform Tymeka of your needs when you sign up.
In the event that you require camping gear, Sturgeon River Ranch offers rentals for a nominal fee of approximately $30. Additionally, if you prefer, Tymeka suggests the option of sleeping in a hammock as an alternative to a tent and sleeping bag.

The typical temperature in northern Prince Albert in August ranges from a daytime high of 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) to a nighttime low of 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit). Based on personal experience camping in the area around the same time last year, mornings tend to be cool enough to require a hoodie and pants, while afternoons may warm up enough for shorts and a tank top. As evening sets in, temperatures drop again, often necessitating a sweat suit or additional layers for comfort.

You have three convenient payment options available:
1. Pay the full amount upfront to benefit from the maximum cost savings.
2. Opt for a split payment plan, paying half of the total now and the remaining balance two months later or before July 1st.
3. Choose a monthly payment plan for added flexibility.
Please ensure that the trip is fully paid for at least 14 days prior to the start date. If you have any further questions regarding payment options, feel free to reach out to Tymeka via email at tymekazimmerman@outlook.com
